SafeBoot has joined the SecureIT Alliance founded by Microsoft. As a member of the group, SafeBoot will lend its expertise in data protection via centralised encryption and access control.
The SecureIT Alliance is a Web-enabled community that serves as a central point for members to share security solutions information and best practices with the public. The Alliance community provides members with platform disclosure information from Microsoft, including beta releases, vulnerability remediation, emerging technology, and software development kits, in order to more efficiently and effectively develop new security solutions.
"Stopping corporate data leakage is a growing concern for companies and government agencies. Empowering these organisations to establish and enforce their security policies is saving them the embarrassment and large costs due to breaches," said a SafeBoot spokesperson. "The SecureIT Alliance is a hub of information needed to continue to deliver world-class solutions to IT security professionals around the globe."
The SafeBoot suite of mobile data security solutions provides access control and encryption technology for data, devices and networks all centrally managed to enforce mandatory IT security policies.
