Beijing was the main source of spam for the seventh straight month, which would go some way to support a recent claim by Eugene Kaspersky that 70 per cent of malware writers are from China. The city was responsible for nearly 11 per cent of spam, nearly 400,000, growing slightly from March. Moscow, Russia (3.47 per cent) was second in the spam chart and Seoul, South Korea (3.19 per cent) third.
