CA has introduced a new recovery management solution that helps customers ensure protection, recoverability and uninterrupted access to critical business information by combining continuous data protection (CDP), business continuity and disaster recovery capabilities into one package.

The BrightStor ARCserve Backup/WANSyncHA Bundle integrates the XOsoft WANSync high availability and XOsoft Assured Recovery disaster recovery testing solutions recently acquired by CA with CAs BrightStor ARCserve Backup. It enables a full range of recovery management best practicesincluding rapid backup to all forms of storage media, replication of data to remote servers, and testing of the recoverability of key business applications and data.

Many companies have been reluctant to adopt CDP because it only addresses part of their overall recovery management requirements. By integrating CDP with multiple data protection, business continuity and disaster recovery technologies, the new bundle helps customers ensure availability and timely recovery of email, database and other business applications across diverse storage infrastructures.
