KEMP Technologies has announced that its LoadMaster 1500 - a server load balancing and layer 7 content switching appliance with integrated SSL acceleration capability aimed at small and medium businesses (SMBs), is now RoHS compliant and ready for shipping to Europe.

KEMP has developed the LoadMaster 1500 to address the gap between high-priced, enterprise-oriented load balancers and what small and medium business can actually afford. The LoadMaster 1500 comes with a web user interface (WUI), yet includes such advanced features as Layer 7 content switching, Layer 7 persistence, SSL Acceleration and Stateful Failover.

The LoadMaster supports all TCP/UDP based services include HTTP, FTP, TCP, UDP, SMTP, POP3, LDAP, SSL and more.
