Kaspersky Lab has released Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Clearswift MIMESweeper for SMTP.

The product provides high-speed antivirus scanning for all incoming SMTP traffic on servers that use MIMESweeper software. The release of this product represents a milestone in the collaboration between Kaspersky Lab and Clearswift, which began in 2005 with plans to integrate Kaspersky Anti-Virus with the Clearswift MIMESweeper SMTP Appliance.

Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Clearswift MIMESweeper for SMTP scans all incoming email traffic in real time and removes any malicious programs that it detects. The solution can be configured and administered using the administration tools already available in Clearswift MIMESweeper, which enable administrators to apply flexible security policies to the protected network.
