Internet Security Systems, Inc. (ISS) has entered into an alliance with BitDefender to integrate new antivirus and anti-spyware features into the ISS Proventia Desktop Endpoint Security product. The new features will complement the behavioural-based ISS Virus Prevention System (VPS), already a key component of the companys desktop protection offering.

ISS Proventia Desktop with integrated antivirus and anti-spyware features will be available early 2007. Antivirus and anti-spyware content updates will be made available via annual subscription.
