CipherTrust, Inc. has appointed David Stanley as vice president and managing director, EMEA and Edward Rowley as technical manager, EMEA. Both join the CipherTrust team to continue to develop its European growth plans.

With over nine years security and channel experience, Stanley was a key contributor to Sophos's success in the European market, where he began as a direct sales representative, became UK Sales Manager in 1999 and was promoted to General Manager, UK operations in 2002. During his time at Sophos, Stanley grew UK revenues from under 10m to over 45m.
Stanley was also responsible for moving Sophos from a direct sales approach to a channel model. This experience will support CipherTrust's 100 per cent channel strategy as it continues to recruit Value Added Resellers to expand its presence across Europe. His experience also provides an understanding of developing a channel SMB route to market for the IronMail S-class, which caters to the needs of companies with 100 to 1,000 email users.
Supporting Stanley in his new role will be Edward Rowley as technical manager, EMEA. With over four years of technical experience at Sophos, Rowley provided technical expertise to the UK sales department, advised customers and helped to drive product development.
