Active Directory Environment Management Tool
02 Aug 12:07

CNS Software, a provider of Windows-based network management tools, has released WinRadar v2.

Managing an Active Directory (AD) environment of any size has become a challenge. WinRadar assists by eliminating the repetitive, time-consuming tasks that AD brings. By providing more built in features and requiring no scripting, WinRadar allows an administrator more time to focus on other issues, such as network security.

With its centrally managed, extensive feature set, WinRadar allows administrators to manage client systems remotely through a familiar domain controller interface. Not only will this increase administrator efficiency, but it will help ensure the network uses are appropriate. It does so by providing a list of running processes and installed programs. From the list, an administrator can terminate a process, uninstall a program, or discover redundant software.

WinRadar v2 acts as a front end to AD allowing administrators to manage their network from a single console, enabling an administrator to perform tasks that would otherwise require individual computer maintenance. Such tasks include updating users, viewing hot fixes, or service packs. WinRadar also permits actions on remote machines such as reboot, shutdown, view network information, show logged on user, monitor system services, and more.
