01 Aug 10:49

Dynamic Tech Services, Inc. and Bueno Software, Inc. have released SOX Login for Microsoft Dynamics SL 5.5 - 6.5. SOX Login software adds security features that help to enable Microsoft Dynamics SL users to meet Sarbanes-Oxley security requirements for applications. SOX Login is written using VB 2005 and VeriTest certified on Microsoft SQL Server 2005 as a Microsoft Front Runner participant.

As the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 (SOX) became effective, executive management of publicly held companies reporting approximately 70 million or more in revenue to the SEC are required to certify their financial reports and confirm the effectiveness of internal controls for financial transaction processing. SOX requires that integrity of data be authenticated using strong integrity controls and robust access controls. These controls must allow access to data to only those persons with proper authority to effect financial transactions.

SOX Login was created to enhance the Microsoft Dynamics SL (Solomon) product by offering security features that meet the data access requirements of SOX and industry standards for security. Strong passwords, forced password change in set intervals, expiring password notification, forced new user password change, password history tracking, optional user login activity tracking and more are built-in features of this product.

SOXLogin is a security enhancement that allows the Microsoft Dynamics SL (Solomon) Administrators to configure password change rules for Microsoft Dynamics SL (Solomon) to conform to security requirements of governmental agencies and regulations, such as Sarbanes/Oxley. SOXLogin currently supports Microsoft Dynamics SL (Solomon) versions 5.5, 6.0 and 6.5.

Dynamics Tech Services, Inc and Bueno Software, Inc. have joined resources to bring state of the art security to the Microsoft Dynamics SL (Solomon) product. Bueno Software contributes as the development arm and Dynamic Tech Services contributes as the sales, support and marketing arm of the alliance.
