Information assurance specialist Vistorm Has partnered with McAfee to include McAfee's Foundstone vulnerability management technology in Vistorm's managed vulnerability assessment and alerting service.

The intelligent vulnerability assessment and alerting service interrogates networks to develop a clearer picture of where security weaknesses may be located. These weaknesses are discovered and interrogated for vulnerabilities to help administrators detect, prioritise, and fix issues before they are exploited by intruders.

The stated ultimate aim of the Vistorm Managed Services portfolio is to end up with a set of information assets and service platforms that are available, reliable, accurate, secure, and fit in with compliance regimes, whilst being directly aligned with the needs of the business.
