Businesses that rely heavily on IT can now benefit from a new service that gives near-instantaneous recovery from system interruptions as well as major outages.
Called Business Interruption Protection Service or BIPs, it enables a business to invoke a total reinstatement of service within a maximum of 15 minutes. It is claimed no other service or technical solution provides this speed of recovery.
Developed by Capital Continuity, a start-up business continuity specialist company, BIPs not only puts a business back on its feet within minutes but also ensures minimal loss of data up to the precise point of the interruption through real-time replication. So, whether its a mail server crash or theres a catastrophic failure with the buildings infrastructure, BIPs is able to recover the situation in the minimum time.
BIPs is a fully managed service meaning that it just takes one call to invoke the service and be up and running again in a few minutes. Platforms currently supported are Windows 2000, Windows 2003 and Linux.
