AEP Networks Appoints Melody Iffland Director

AEP Networks has appointed Melody Iffland as its new Director of Corporate Marketing.

Ms. Iffland brings over sixteen years of marketing, sales, IT, and financial experience to AEP. In her new role, she oversees corporate branding, analyst and media relations, advertising, marketing events, collateral, the AEP web site, and the corporate planning of field marketing activities.

Ms. Iffland joins AEP from Lumeta Corporation, where she served as the director of marketing. During her tenure, she was instrumental in launching their flagship IPsonar network security software product which contributed to significant revenue growth. She also successfully expanded market awareness to help drive new sales opportunities and gain interest from the media and analysts, as well as secure the company several industry awards.

Prior to joining Lumeta, Ms. Iffland was the senior marketing manager at Flarion Technologies, a wireless networking company (recently acquired by Qualcomm). She spent the first twelve years of her career working with NCR Corporation where she held a variety of roles including industry marketing manager for the communications industry, an organization that delivered Teradata database and CRM/BI software solutions to Global 500 companies.

Ms. Iffland holds a B.S. degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
