Siemens Communications has announced the appointment of Peter Finnigan as Principal Consultant at its specialist IT security and business continuity management unit, Insight Consulting.
Peter Finnigan brings extensive experience of providing security consultancy for Oracles database solutions and will be responsible for auditing, securely configuring and designing database solutions, as well as ensuring that associated application development is secure.
As well as his specialist Oracle security knowledge, Peter has extensive experience of the entire IT value chain, including security management, audit and assessment, database administration, software design and application development, and project management. In addition, Peter is the author of the SANS book Oracle Security Step by Step: A Survival Guide for Oracle Security, and has contributed numerous IT security white papers and articles for industry information.
