Fortify Software Inc has released Fortify SCA 4.5, which includes features that enable development, audit and information security teams to identify and fix security vulnerabilities early and with less effort.
New features in Fortify SCA 4.5 include the availability of several out-of-the-box reports:
- Application Portfolio
- Application Group/Business Unit Summary
- Project Group Summary
- Project Summary
- Scan Summary
- Scan Comparison
- Scan Detail
- Remediation Matrix
- OWASP/PCI Requirement 6.5
- OWASP 2007 Top 10
Fortify SCA 4.5 has also added more regulatory compliance reports. Managers needing to meet mandate requirements, such as PCI or FISMA, can quickly generate reports to highlight compliance with a set of out-of-the-box reports. The Analysis Trace diagram allows customers to interactively trace an entire call graph to quickly identify and remediate security vulnerabilities such as SQL injections or cross-site scripting.
