250 of the UK's top CIOs and heads of IT gather at the silicon.com CIO Forum to explore critical factors for business success. The event will take place on 26 September at the London Hilton on Park Lane.

The annual conference, which attracts an audience of CIOs, IT directors and other heads of IT, offers a stage for the exchange of ideas and information. Chaired by René Carayol, CEO, Inspired Leaders Network, this year's Forum looks at a range of issues including 'Leadership: The CIO as a corporate trailblazer', 'Strategy: Using the language of the board to get buy-in', and 'Technology insights: Sourcing, managed services and SOAs' - providing insight into what makes a leading CIO.

The conference again features the CIO Jury debate. The lively and informal courtroom-style debate puts the audience in the gallery, while the jury of prominent tech chiefs airs their views and members of silicon.com's CIO Jury deliver the verdict. The debate before the house this year is 'Should you fear Google?'.
